Karting:<\/em><\/strong> Considered one of the largest circuits in Europe, the Tuineje karting has 1,500 metres of track with three karting categories (children, junior and senior).

Entallada Lighthouse<\/em><\/strong>built in 1953, is architecturally picturesque and unique in the Archipelago. It is located in a cliff area near Las Playitas, from where you can enjoy a spectacular view of the Natural Monument of Los Cuchillos de Vig\u00e1n, a monument that has been declared an Area of Ecological Sensitivity and Special Protection for Birds.<\/h6>\n\n\n\n

Gran Tarajal Lime Kiln<\/em><\/strong>Built in 1953 and of civil architecture, it is considered one of the largest on the island.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teacher's House<\/em><\/strong>This emblematic building in Tiscamanita dates back to the end of the 19th century. It is the centre of the Manuel Vel\u00e1zquez Cabrera Foundation and the Rancho de \u00c1nimas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Church of St. Michael the Archangel<\/em><\/strong>in Tuineje, has been declared an Asset of Cultural Interest and dates back to the 17th century. Here you can see a pictorial representation, painted in oil, which tells the story of the \"Battle of Tamasite\" fought in 1740.
The Chapel of San Marcos, in Tiscamanita, declared an Asset of Cultural Interest, stands out for its altarpieces and sculptural ensemble.

Tuineje's gastronomy is simple but of high quality, and has been able to take advantage of the resources that the land and the sea have to offer.
A highly prized tomato with a sublime flavour is grown in this area, with Tuineje being one of its main producers.
The figure of the Majorero goat dominates the island's landscape and can be seen in the island's haute cuisine. Both its meat and its milk, from which the acclaimed Majorero cheese is made, are highly valued for their flavour and quality.
