The PR-FV 15.1 leaves the Cortijo de la Sargenta behind and, heading west, enters the Tetir valley, an impressive U-shaped valley, the product of continuous erosion over time. In its interior, different forms of traditional cultivation stand out: gavias and cadenas. We continue westwards to begin an ascent to Degollada de Facay. On our right we will see some dry earth ponds whose purpose is to collect runoff water for storage and subsequent use by the farmer. A little further up, we will cross some wooden bridges that will lead us to the cut throat. Along the path you will see some specimens of verodes (Kleinia neriitolia) and wild tabaibas (Euphorbia regis-jubae), although the most abundant vegetation is gorse thickets (Launaea arborescens). At Degollada de Facay, we will discover two spectacular panoramic views: to the east, the immensity of the Tetir Valley and to the west, the village of Tefía, located on a plain where Montaña Bermeja stands alone. We then begin to descend for approximately one kilometre until we reach the foot of Morro Bermejo, from where we head northwest towards Tefía, where this short route ends.
